About Digital Mirror – First Glimpse
We invite you to take a look in the Digital Mirror.
Digital Mirror is designed to help you understand your behavior and those of others in your digital ecosystem. For years, we at Cataphora have been applying our software and expertise to uncover evidence in major litigation and investigations. And now, we have applied the tradecraft that has been an essential part of our success, coupled with a small subset of the company’s patented data analysis technologies to create Digital Mirror – software that allows you to see a reflection of your digital universe and your role within it.
Digital Mirror First Glimpse is intended to provide a light-hearted but thought-provoking peek at your interactions with others. To whom do you devote most of your quality time? Do you habitually pass the buck to others, or they to you? Are there conversations about specific topics with specific individuals that have been notably stressful? These are just a couple of the questions Digital Mirror helps you explore.
Digital Mirror data requirements
As Digital Mirror develops, it will analyze an ever-broader set of data, including most of the common types of email and social networking websites, as well as providing new visualizations. This free version of the software analyzes only email that you have in your own Gmail or Outlook stores.
Please note that Digital Mirror is optimized for analysis of data in a work or other organizational context and it is possible that you may find some of the results less interesting or relevant if you run it on personal data.

A word about privacy
Digital Mirror is designed to respect your privacy. It runs on your computer, and the results of the analysis stay there and are not sent to Cataphora or anywhere else. Some general statistics are sent to Cataphora, though you can easily turn this reporting off. Examples of these general statistics are data about Digital Mirror processing, such as how long it took, and statistical data about the email messages that were processed, such as the number of emails and attachments.
