Important! You must be running Microsoft Outlook (not including Outlook Express) or Gmail to take advantage of this release of Digital Mirror. We will continue to work on support for a broader set of platforms.
Note: A German version of Digital Mirror is also available.

System requirements

Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, or 7
Hard drive space: 196 MB of free hard drive space on the drive where you install Digital Mirror. Free hard drive space equal to at least 12% of the size of the email files you plan to analyze on the drive where your system's application directory is located (typically the C: drive).
RAM: At least 1 GB
Screen resolution: At least 1024x768 screen resolution is recommended 		 
Email Client requirements

Digital Mirror currently supports Gmail and select versions of Microsoft Outlook. If you are a Microsoft Outlook user, Digital Mirror requires Microsoft Outlook 2002, 2003, 2007, or 2010 (32-bit)* to be installed.
* While Digital Mirror should work with the 32-bit version of Outlook 2010, please be aware that this new version has not been tested as thoroughly as the other supported versions of Outlook. Digital Mirror will not currently work with the 64-bit version of Outlook 2010.

Data requirements

Please note that Digital Mirror – First Glimpse is optimized for analysis of data in a work or other organizational context and it is possible that you may find some of the results less interesting or relevant if you run it on personal data.

This version of Digital Mirror is optimized for American English and German. It also detects many colloquial expressions that might be used by British, Irish and Indian English users, but the quality of the results may not be as good for these variants.

We'd like to know what email client or social networking site you use so that we can consider offering support for it in future releases. We've processed data from as many data sources as you can imagine, so there's a pretty good chance we can handle yours.

Running Digital Mirror

Download Digital Mirror by clicking on the Download button to the left.

Once installed and started, Digital Mirror will:
  1. Examine the information in your email (you can carry on using Outlook or Gmail while it does this)
  2. Generate a model of your behavior patterns (this may take a while)
  3. Display the visualizations for you to explore.
